I'm Allyson Hopper, a senior at the University of Connecticut, currently diving deep into my BFA in Digital Media & Design with a focus on 2D Motion Design & Animation. Originally from Riverside, Connecticut, I've been obsessed with animation since I was a kid. I spent hours watching animated shows and creating my own little animations, which I eagerly shared on YouTube. That childhood passion has now turned into a serious career focus. My work is all about 2D animation, with a special love for bringing cartoons to life through vibrant, fluid motion and an eye for detail. I’m constantly inspired by the power of animated storytelling and how much emotion and personality can be packed into every frame. Right now, I’m working on a bunch of personal animation projects that let me experiment with new styles and techniques, and I’m super excited to see where these creative explorations take me. My goal is to take all the skills I’ve been honing over the years and apply them to innovative projects in the animation industry, hopefully creating something that brings a smile to someone’s face—or maybe even sparks a bit of imagination!
